I seriously think you're misreading this thread. What a lot of us are saying is that we are interested, and also somewhat skeptical, to varying degrees in both cases. Most of us are here because we've had good experiences with Apple products in the past. That being the case, why wouldn't we want to know more about the HomePod, and possibly consider it for purchase. I haven't heard anyone say they're jumping blindly on the bandwagon.
