Scott,

Yeah possibly but it will come down to what form of lock down the sys admins
have on the notebook,

As for safari, not an option on a windows 7 based machine

I would think you could enable sharing on the laptop and then mount the shares
via the browser possibly. It’s been a long long time but I thought I
remembered something along the lines of using the safari browser as the file
browser. Let me know if you get stuck I’d take this on as a project to figure
it out as well and be glad to help. Possibly Simon has run in to this as a
systems admin. Might be a good question for the blind sysadmins list as well.
THere’s a lot of smart windows admins there.

Just another suggestion.

Hi,

Yes, once I receive my local access laptop, I will find a way to easily
transfer documents between the iPad and the laptop. Email will definitely work.
However, I will first try Microsoft One Drive. It will depend on the
permissions desktop support gives me on the laptop. At the very least, they
will allow me to install the screen reader. My question is JFW or NVDA. That
will depend on how well NVDA can access our specialised programs. I would
prefer to avoid the several hundred dollar JFW upgrade cost as my JFW license
is 5 years out-of-date..

That’s such a bogus reason not to install JFW. Especially when you can deploy

and security in the mean time demanding that their favorite messenger or media

Not a bad work around though. The only problem is having to run windows, that
