Correction: I received 10 copies of the original message -- but only 5 of them came in the first hour before Barry responded with a reply. You can use option-up arrow or option-down arrow to move to the previous or next message in the same thread in your mail messages table, even if you aren't organizing your mail to view by thread. I just used option-up arrow and counted the instances. This is decidedly bizarre, but explains why some people were sending annoyed responses to the list. The last 5 messages came up through nearly two and half hours from the original post, at intervals of 20-30 minutes. All had the same sending time.
