I know iBooks will read PDF files But what about the iBooks author app which you can install on your mac book / OSX

I got audio book builder yesterday and imported an mp4 audio chapter that I converted by using "ad to itunes as a spoken track" but after reading most of the audio book builder manual I am not sure what to do with the track it made?
