Hi,
It's possible to set the Ring Tone to be the default text tone or even to set
it only for specific people. To set it as the default, go into to Settings,
Sound and double-tap on the Text Tone button then choose the tone you want. If
you wish it specifically for a certain contact, then go into Contacts, locate
the contact you wish this tone applied to, double-tap on that contact,
double-tap the Edit button and swipe until you find the Text Tone button.
Double-tap this button and find this tone to apply it.
