well,
I am still on a 5S here and it's been doing something like this for the last 
several revisions of the FB app. Either the post gets buried (even though you 
made it less than a minute ago) or the app doesn't update often enough.

THere is also a scroll bug when listing long lists (like your friends) where it 
gets stuck on one user and no matter how many times you flick right, it wraps 
right back around.

I have notified FB until I am blue in the face, and all the reports come back 
as closed. It's like someone there just isn't paying attention.
