It didn’t work for me today on a machine in a store,

It could have been that the volume was down but couldn’t tell because the
function keys aren’t there anymore

It’s weird stuff but keen to get my hands on one.

Hi everyone it’d be interesting how you turn on voiceover in recovery, because
i heard on a podcast that triple tapping the sensor 3 times when holding down
command key doesn’t work in recovery I’m curious about that! Thanks. have a
great festive season.
cheers gerry have a nice day

Actually, there is an F5. If you hold down the FN key, the touch bar displays
all the traditional function keys. If VO is on, they are announced as F1, F2,
etc.

On the new MBP there is no F5,

I believe it's command and tap the power key 3 times
Or at least the key with the finger print sensor

Hi all,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday. I'm enjoying a quiet moment
between two Christmas celebrations and wanted to post this question to the list.

I had the chance to test drive the new MBP the other day, and Santa was
generous, so I think I'll be getting one soon. When I was in the Apple store,
I couldn't remember the command for activating VO. Can someone refresh my
memory? The salesperson did get VO turned on, but he did so in a way that
would be tricky without eyeballs.

I know this question has come up before, so sorry for asking again. I thought
I'd saved that message, but can't seem to put my hands on it.
Cheers,
Donna
