Hi Nektarios, Yes, I think you have answered my question. the file I need to have recorded is on my hard drive but it's an image so a sighted person has to read it out to me. I want to have a recording of the reading so that I can listen to it again and again. That's why I was asking whether and how I could make such a recording on the same mac while the reader is reading it aloud. I thought QuickTime could record the internal microphone but obviously not. I will look into Amadeus. Thank you.
