Good morning, When I woke up this morning to boot up my mac, I noticed something very troubling. The mac chime sounded as per usual, but voiceover for some odd reason failed to start talking. From what I can tell, my mac was on a screen which somehow was causing voiceover to not activate. I tried the cmdf5, over and over again and nothing happened. I made sure my computer was unmated, and the volume turned up with no result. I hard rebooted it (holding down the power button), and started the computer up again with the same exact result. No matter what I tried, my voiceover failed to turn on at the log in screen. I am not even certain if the computer was even on the log on screen to begin with. I unhooked my external hard drive, and tried booting up again with the same result. After doing yet another hard reboot, I managed to get voiceover to start talking but it was not what I was expecting. Instead of saying, “authentication window”, VO just said, apple window and nothing else. I was not able to do anything at all from this screen. I waited a bit and restarted voiceover and it finally managed to get to the authentication window. Anyone else had a similar experience at the log on screen like this? I wonder if this some sort of a Sierra bug. Nevertheless, it was troubling to say the least and I didn’t experience this at all with El Capitan.
