Hello all,
I've started working on an audio game and wanted to use garage band to do the
music that I'm able to do, which lead me to a few questions.
First, I see the tracks column but it looks like there are already new tracks.
Can I just create a track, label it and start recording with a selected
instrament?
Second, I've been trying to figure out how to use the samples and work off of
those. Is there an easy way to get those to the tracks list?
Any tips and/or tricks with garage band would be awesome. I've already
discovered the 1 and 2 keys do the warble while z and x move you through
insteraments and c and v raise and lower the volume, what others are there? is
there a way to re-assign notes to keys? this would be most useful when I have a
beat planned out on the drums and want to play it and assign the keys to
different hands so that I can keep in sync without having to jump around the
keyboard for the different drums. Will garage band save in .wav or .ogg format?
I'm going to be writing an audio game, and there seems to be some issues with
the legalities of mp3, I'd rather use ogg or if worse comes to worst wav for my
formats.

Thanks,
Tyler
