Hi, the experiences are going to vary a little bit driver to driver and market
to market. I have definitely have them wait for me before, but like I might
have mentioned, I had one driver saying he did not want to wait while keeping
the same trip going. Also sometimes it can work and sometimes not if you end a
trip and then try to request the same driver. But again anything is possible
and your mileage may vary. The only reason you may not want to book several
trips for these errands is that you get charged a base fare charge at the
beginning of each trip, so it might cost you a little bit more to do it that
way.
Also, incidentally, lyft recently added an ad stop feature. So you can set your
origination, they call the stop away point, and then the destination. So it's
all integrated into the app.
Best,
Mika
