I haven’t seen this addressed recently, but in case you haven’t tried or didn’t 
know, Siri will play music in iTunes for Apple Music subscribers.

simply hold down Command space and say “play” song title, or “play” artist 
after the tone.

I’ve experienced having to say the command a bit slow for it to hear me well.

You can then skip, repeat, Play, pause, and shuffle with the same key commands 
for media play using the function keys s through 12 in combination with the fn 
key.
