Hello All, I am delighted to inform you that the new Twitter for iOS Night Mode feature is now VoiceOver compatible in the latest update to the app.
Please join me in expressing appreciation to the Twitter developers for addressing our request so quickly, in fact, within less than a month. I will paste in my original message on this subject, wherein you will find the various contact channels that I recommend. This is truly a marvelous enhancement to an already outstanding social media tool. Mark -----Original Message----- From: viph...@googlegroups.com [mailto:viph...@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of M. Taylor Sent: Saturday, September 24, 2016 2:39 PM To: viph...@googlegroups.com Subject: Please Join Me in Requesting That The New Night Mode Feature, introduced in the Latest Version of the iOS Twitter App, Be Made VoiceOver Accessible Hello Everyone, Recently, Twitter introduced a new accessibility feature called Night Mode. As posted by I-Accessibility, Quote, Twitter for iOS has updated their app with a feature called Night Mode that changes the app's color scheme to allow for higher contrast text. This feature allows for users to read tweets easier by showing text on a dark background with light colored text. ... Turning on this feature will instantly switch your device to Night mode, End Quote. http://iaccessibility.net/index.php/2016/09/24/quick-tip-enable-night-mode-i os-twitter-app/ Unfortunately, as was the case when Moments was introduced, the Night Mode feature cannot be accessed when VoiceOver is enabled. Please join me in requesting that Night Mode be made available even when VoiceOver is enabled. Post your request in the App Store as a review, send a tweet to both @support and @Twitter, and send your request to Twitter via email at supp...@twitter.com.
