You want a very simple solution, a way to use eBay without having to install something, without having to stand on your head or perform any cyber rituals? Instead of going to ebay.com, direct Safari to: http://hub.shop.ebay.com/ All will then be just fine. Not too terribly fancy, but it works for me all the darn time.
