Hi, Sometimes after the MacOS upgrade, the checkbox does not register its state properly. Unlock the lock in the Users & Groups pane, select the Guest user from the Users, Groups & Login Options list then VO-space on the checkbox, whether it is checked or not. Close System Preferences then restart your Mac. The Guest user often shows up again. If not, report back and we'll dig a little deeper.
