Hi Paul,

This does work for me. The problem is though, that VO does not recognize, or
at least announce, that it is indeed a HyperLink. So, after exporting to pdf
from Pages, interact with the text area of the pdf and locate the link. If you
physically click the mouse/Trackpad or use the VO-shift-space to invoke the
simulated mouse-click, you should be immediately taken to Safari, or whatever
browser is the default, to the desired page. VO is just not telling you that
it is a link. I suspect that the sighted user sees the coloured link and
simply clicks on it. This would be a deficiency with VO and Preview and should
be reported to Apple Accessibility.

Hello,
I am running the latest El Capitan on my iMac. I have a pages document which
contains hyperlinks which work fine in pages with VoiceOver saying “Link”
before each hyperlink. Alas when I export this file to PDF Preview does not
seem to recognise the hyperlinks. From web research this conversion ought to
work OK.

Do hyperlinks work in PDF documents under Preview for anyone? If so can you
please point me to such a PDF document.

Many thanks….
