Hi, Nope. Keyboard commander can take care of it, or if you have a trackpad, a three-finger double-tap works as a mute VoiceOver toggle. You can, of course, also set commands for muting speech only, or VoiceOver sounds. I'm referencing Keyboard Commander again because I personally have never seen a default keystroke for this. Usually, I'd imagine it should show in the Audio submenu in the VoiceOver Commands menu like the others do?
