Hello Brian, Yes, Activities are working beautifully in Sierra, on my MacBook Pro Mid-2014 machine.
I use several activities including various voices. For example, while my primary VoiceOver voice is Alex, all notifications and the notification center, use my beloved Samantha. To be honest, the Activities are executing faster and more smoothly than they did in El Capitan. I like QuickNav to automatically turn off when in mail and Night Owl and I use different voices but nothing seems to work. Would love to hear if activities are working for anyone.
