I use my Focus 14 if I want to type something long or dictation if I’m in a private place. But if anyone has a method of doing braille please share with us as I can’t do it. If I try and do dots 1 and 3 to do C it comes out as colon and if I try and find an I as I make the shape of an I in braille it comes out as an exclamation mark. I have UEB on and contracted braille and it doesn’t matter how I have the phone.
I gave up in 2008 when it came out as I couldn’t do it and I remember telling you all that my fingers ached so much if I held the phone to my chest and typed. I can’t hold the phone to my chest and do this a flat surface would be needed. But like I said it’s all wrong right now. Why can Jonathan do it so fast although I know he’s practised but if it’s easy for one why not for us who can’t do this. I know we are all different but we must be missing something simple.
