I guess this is why they say "different strokes." I definitely use a battery case. Of course, I'm not flying on a plane for 12 hours at a time. I'm just trying to get through a day of very heavy phone use, and I'm not always near a plug. So for me, a battery case is the height of convenience. The nice thing about some battery cases is that they can be recharged independently of the phone. Naturally, that means you have to take the case off of the phone. But that's not a big deal as far as I'm concerned. I was very disappointed with the last case from mophi that I had, because you could not charge it independently of the phone. Crappy design. And I don't know about the one from Apple. I have one from a third-party that I purchased on a deal from Amazon sometime ago. It has worked quite well, and was inexpensive. Mary
