Posting this here as it impacts every iPhone user. Verizon activated carrier aggregation or LTE advanced across it’s network this week. This feature bonds multiple channels together in to a single fast bundle. This allows the connection to optimize for indoor or outdoor use, different bands and so forth. The results are a 50% boost in peek speeds with some readings exceeding 300 megabits when 3 connections are aggregated.
