Usually, mac users call that option and not alt. . Use control ootion m twice to get to the menu extras area. Then, make sure that quick nap is turned off and use option in the arrow keys to move over to the Wi-Fi network. At this point use the option down the road and you should see all of the debugging options for Wi-Fi networking.
