Karen, To answer your question, yes, I did read your original post.
To be honest, your reply comes across as being a bit hostile. I am not certain if this is intentional or unintentional but, regardless, I ask that you keep in mind two very important aspects of this community: 1. While we do enjoy discussing various aspects of technology, our primary purpose is to support each other in the use of Apple products. Consequently, it is not unreasonable for anyone to assume that, unless otherwise specified, when one describes an unresolved challenge, that one is referring to, at minimum, an Apple product, most likely being Mac OS. 2. While, sometimes, the members of this community take time to wade through all of the messages in order to obtain solutions to various problems, more often than not, we do so in order to help others resolve their challenges. When I first saw your message, I was in the middle of a project so could not give it the time I thought it deserved. However, I never forgot that you were unable to enjoy an MP3 file that you purchased. So, as a result, I resolved that at the first opportunity, assuming that a solution had not been discovered, I would attempt to reproduce your scenario as I understood it, to either confirm your results or determine a workaround. I think you would be quite surprised at the number of people in this community who attempted to reproduce your problem in hopes of discovering a solution. The fact that the original thread turned a bit harsh, is unfortunate and probably inhibited some from posting so as not to get into yet another proverbial firefight. As E.T. correctly stated, "To be perfectly blunt, while you did not say you were using a Mac, you also did not state otherwise. After all, you posted to an OS X/iOS group ..." Karen, regardless of the net real-world result, I and others took the time to try to help you. This is no small thing and should not be taken for granted as, quite frankly, you were not taken for granted and, subsequently not ignored. In conclusion I'll add that I am really happy to learn that your Amazon .MP3 problem was not the result of some kind of bug with an Apple product, all things being equal. Instead I spoke of web content access guidelines, which speak of accessibility for everyone regardless of disability, and are not tool specific. I referenced the keyboard, the ability to access content in low graphics enviroments, like Linux,, but I never once asked for more than the accessibility contact, nor did I once referenced mac issues. I respect this list enough to know if I were seeking to trouble shoot I should provide technical specifics. you are the first to even ask what I was doing. Karen On Thu, 18 Aug 2016, M.
