Hi,
To do what you mention in your post below use this.
To hear the address of a link, while on it use shft-vo + u to have it
spoken.
To copy the address just spoken use shft-vo + c and it will be saved to
the clipboard and voiceover will say "last phrase copied to pasteboard".
Pasteboard is aplles name for the clipboard in windows.
Any character or word or longer phrase can be save using the above.
To paste the phrase or any saved item use cmd+v.

I use itunes to do this most of the time.
You just half to check your itunes import preferences and make sure its set to
lets say mp3 in your case.
