Yeah I have the new magic trackpad 2 and I’m not sure but I find I have to push a bit harder to get it working to recognise what the gestures are
It’s got a more solid and I guess harder feel to the touch screan but it’s pretty good with battery life. The lightening charging makes things easier as you can run it off the cable as well. Also it has a on off switch in the back right corner which also locks the touch pad of the trackpad so it no longer can depress. I still for some reason like the feel of how the older one works I think it’s just the not yet use to the new one. Hope that makes sense. Hi, I have the original trackpad. It does eat batteries. I use rechargeable, and I seem to have to recharge them way too often. That's my only complaint about it. But because of that I'm actually not using it with voice over right now I just got tired of charging the batteries. I would be interested if anyone has experience with both trackpads to know if there's any difference in usage. I need for voiceover. This sound like a good deal to me, but is the new one worth the extra money? I read somewhere, I don't remember where, that the first generation one is perhaps easier to use, but that it loves batteries. Thanks for any opinions.
