Hello Anne and Robert, I still have the app around, and if you want to learn how to script UI Interfaces in AppleScript it could be fun to look at.
I was unable to get the double click to work, but I did interact with the vertical splitter just and was then able to move it fully to the right with vo-shift-right . Two or three clicks did it.
