I am not saying that. Read again, carefully, what I said.

Rumors be dammed. (smiles) Anyone who takes rumors that seriously
needs to step back and simply wait for the reality check. That is common
sense. When the first iPhone came out, who would have ever dreamed that
a touch screen could be blind friendly?

I’m sorry, but I don’t see this one a something I’ll change my tune

If the rumors are indeed true, each key will have no tactile boundary
for a visually impaired person to be able to distinguish from, thus
making the touch bar a complete accessibility nightmare, unless they
re-engineer OS X or whatever they’re going to call it next, so that
the bar has some type of voiceover support built in.

Hi there,
Rumor has it that the soon forth coming Mac book pros will feature
a touch bar instead of function keys on the keyboard. This raises
an interesting question. Assuming that Voice Over is turned off on
any one of the new Mac book Pros that a blind user goes up to, how
is a blind person supposed to turn on Voice Over if there are no
physical function keys but instead a touch bar? I think maybe I
can guess. If a blind person needs to turn on Voice OVer, it
should be possible by pressing VO+touch anyware on the bar and that
should do it. Or else, triple tap the bar to turn Voice OVer on.
I can almost imagine the e-mails now.
