Hi Chris, Yes Xfat and fat32 work on both mac os and windows,
NTFS is windows but can work with the mac if you purchase a 3rd party tool to allow writing to the NTFS file system. It's the old thing of if you have files smaller than 4GB then use fat32, if you have files or data that will be larger sizes than 4gb then use Xfat or NTFS if your using windows. I use XFat on a partition of my flash drive to save my OSX installer files to. And my office and vpn installers although they are smaller than 4gb it's just easier to keep everything in one place. -----Original Message----- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com [mailto:macvisionaries@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Christopher-Mark Gilland Sent: Monday, 23 May 2016 11:01 AM To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Disk Utility I wasn't even aware that Windows supported XFat. --- Christopher Gilland JAWS Certified, 2016.
