I think that not everyone likes even the larger screen. I'm a braille display user, for example, so I'm happier with the smaller screen size. I'm also not a huge BSI user, so that is another reason I'd like the larger screen thrown out the window. Battery life? I purchased a case with a battery onboard for $50, and can get 2 days out of the SE while constantly running bluetooth for braille. So while the battery life would be better on the Plus, I have spent much less money to get a battery case and still get the smaller form factor. Not that I think there's anything wrong with the larger phones, I'm just explaining the appeal for me personally.
