Hi Anouk, In general, in order to change your language localization for everything, you might want to set up another account for yourself with default Dutch localization, and then use fast user switching to shift into that account. If you specifically want to launch a particular app with Dutch localization, the only easy way I know to do this is from the command line of terminal, since if you're using Snow Leopard you can't set this up from your Get Info window any more. You might be able to write an AppleScript that would shift this for a particular app.
Anyway, try the following: 1. Open a terminal window from Finder (Command-Shift-U to go to the Utilities Folder, press "T" to find "Terminal" and Command-Down arrow to launch) 2. Copy the following phrase exactly, paste it into your terminal window, and press return: /Applications/Utilities/VoiceOver\ Utility.app/Contents/MacOS/VoiceOver \ Utility -AppleLanguages '(nl)' & 3. This should launch VoiceOver Utility with a Dutch localization -- the '(nl)' argument for the "-AppleLanguages" switch setting. When you're finished, quit the VoiceOver Utility application. (You should NOT have this utility open before you try the above.) This works on my computer, although it sounds odd because Alex is speaking the VoiceOver Utility instructions. To read more about setting the language localizations, see, for example, this archived post: http://www.mail-archive.com/macvisionaries%40googlegroups.com/msg09720.html (Re: language switcher.) Selecting Dutch in the International menu tab only makes it available as one of the languages you can access (and it's probably already available by default). It doesn't switch your current login to that language.
