Hi Grant, I use office 365 and have a exchange server controlling my mail.
As for outlook.com I can’t honestly say if it should or shouldn’t work. However office365 as a server address when setting up in mac mail I have to put the server Outlook.office365.com I would suggest though that you go in to your webmail account of outlook.com and check to see if there is a section on setting up the account I know office 365 does show settings for IMAP and POP3 Configs in your mail clients. As for in mac mail, Have a look under system prefernces and then internet account, there should be an exchange option there, Hope that’s of some help. Hi all, When I began using Outlook.com<http://outlook.com> a few years ago, it supported the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol used on mobile devices. This protocol isn’t supported in Apple Mail for OS X. But now, it looks like Outlook.com<http://outlook.com> works more like Office 365 in that in addition to Exchange ActiveSync support, it supports desktop class Microsoft Exchange. That’s certainly how my Outlook.com<http://outlook.com> account appears to work in Outlook 2016 for Windows. But I can’t find any way to set up the account as Microsoft Exchange in OS X. I am still just using IMAP. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, what settings I’d need to use? Thanks so much.
