I agree that is quite odd.

  Hi Christopher,

Yeah not an issue with setup.

The machine is a later 2013 mac book air,

  Purchased late july that year,

  Custom build

  I7 processor,

8Gig ram and 512 GB ssd drive

  11 inch,

  Installed now OSX 10.11.3,

Drive divided into half for host OS and bootcamp.

  1 user on mac side,

Office 2011 and 2016 both installed,

Other than that, nothing out of ordinary,

Boot camp is running windows 10 64 bit enterprise version

  Again nothing out of ordinary

Although I have active directory admin tools installed on windows side,

  Everything worked fine under Yosemite

  Odd very odd.

  Any thoughts appreciated.

You say you've not seen another setup like your's, part of your setup might
be contributing. Are you at liberty in any way to tell us what specifically
that setup is? If not, I completely understand.

    Yeah I’ts an odd ball

I”ve not seen it on other machines, but I haven’t seen another setup like
mine.

I’m going to up date to 10.11.4 later today and see what happens.

I'm using 10.11.4 as of now, however that being said, I did have Bootcamp
installed on 10.11.3, and I never saw the behavior you're describing.

      Subject: el capitan performance

      Hi List,

Ok, so I’ve just in the past week reinstalled ElCapitan from scratch as
it was origionally an update from Yosemite.

I was finding things like vo M would bring up the menus but I couldn’t
use down / up arrows to scrole up or down the menus.

But could use VO up / down to get to what I needed.

I’m also finding and this could just be a new feature of ElCap

That I’m having to unlock everything in system preferences when I go to
make simple changes such as

I’m running bootcamp also due to needing windows for work and I have to
unlock startup drive when changing to bootcamp from OSX

Not overly worried about this but the bnot being able to scrole down
menus is becoming a pain in the backside.

So I reinstalled from scratch including wiping my drive and the VO up /
down issue was corrected, I then installed Bootcamp and dam it if the issue
hasn’t come back.

Is anyone else finding this to be an issue for them at all?

This is 10.11.3 running on a mid / late 2013 11inch mac book air.

And as yet no I haven’t updated to 10.11.4

And no I can’t drop bootcamp without having to then buy a windows
computer which I don’t want.

      Thanks for any info

      Cheers,

      Simon f
