Chris, I’ll do you one better than that.  I’m comfortable with a life proof 
case to take the phone diving full on in the ocean let alone a tub or shower.  
My cousin uses them for filming under water and they work well even at 300 feet 
down / greater than 100 meters.
        I’ve also used one on an iPad in the boat for several years now with no 
issue and it also took a hit falling when we got hit by a wave off the console 
on to the deck and the screen survived unbroken.
