Hi Mika, Yes, once you’ve established a Wi-Fi connection and the recovery image has been downloaded, you can turn on VoiceOver with COMMAND+F5 as you normally would. Be aware that with internet recovery, you’ll be installing the version of OS X that originally came with your computer, so you’ll need to use the Mac App Store if you want to update to a later version of OS X.
And yes, booting from a USB drive will work exactly as it normally would, so if you have a USB drive with a recovery system or an OS X installer, go ahead and use it and it’ll work fine. Another workaround, if you have an Ethernet port, would be to connect directly to your router with an Ethernet cable which will eliminate the need to select a network and enter your password.
