The ebay bug relates to a javascript applet and some interaction with
Voiceover. Using a new version of Webkit fixes the problem, this was
actually fixed before Safari 4.0.3's release. I'm quite disappointed,
actually, that this fix didn't make it into 4.0.3 as the accessibility
team essentially said they'd make sure it would make it in there and a
lot of other Webkit-related fixes did make it into 4.0.3. For now, I
just use the nightly Webkit builds when I need to visit the homepage
of the US version of ebay. Note that the homepage is the only page
that causes the crash, any other page at all seems to be fine.
