Hi guys, Does anyone know if reading RSS feeds across Mac and iOS is possible? In other words, ideally you’d be able to catch up on one platform, and observe that the other platform was likewise caught up.
iOS News app supports RSS feeds that are known to Safari. Social Links on OS X Safari allow reading RSS. Will these sync? There is Twitter, of course. But I’m still largely going individually to websites, because my Twitter stream is just too full of nonsense (which I still want to indulge, naturally) nowadays. Of course Twitter continues to be useful for reading particular Twitter streams, which is quite a nice, accessible way to catch up on particular sites. And then there is rss2email. But rss2email is not the most convenient to use for one-off or occasional RSS feeds, like those of comments threads of particular Wordpress blogs. It’s rather a heavy hammer, to be reserved only for very important stuff that should end up in email. But yeah, RSS. Any alternative suggestions? I’d love to have something a bit more sane than the first-world problem of going to the (fairly small) number of sites I check in on.
