Hi Walter, Go to system preferences, and interact with the preference pain with vo+shift+down arrow. Vo+arrow to users and groups button and vo+spacebar on it to open it. You will hear voiceover announce: "Users, groups and login options List 1 item selected. Simon Cavendish, current user group"
Now, if you move with vo+right arrow, you will hear two tabs announced. The second tab will say "login options" You want to press vo+spacebar on it to highlight it. then if you move to the right, you will see a table with all the apps that startup at login. Interact with the table of applications with vo+shift+down arrow. Each application that starts at login has a check box next to it, check the one you wish to remo. Then stop interacting with the table with vo+shift+up arrow and move to the right to the button that says remove. Press vo+spacebar on it to remove it from the log in. Hope this will help.
