hey all, a day ago i decided to have a play with ubuntu mate version 15 because it has a nice GUI interface that is more pleasing to someone who uses windows and mac. the problems i'm having is with Sharing my Mac folders with the ubuntu virtual machine. i'm using VM Fusion version 9 and i want to get VM tools installed. i can mount the image on the ubuntu system no problem but how do i go about running the commands to install the program? i don't know how to get to a prompt window, i'm a hopeless speller and even if i could spell i could not remember what commands to put in off the top of my head. They certainly do not make it easy. i wish there was an installer that you could just run. i am a complete novice with ubuntu, i find it harder to get to grips than mac or windows. thanks for any help
