Hi Donna, apps from the App Store have some degree of sandboxing, and this impedes a few Amadeus functions. But the big deal is that if you run beta versions of OS X, there've been a couple of occasions where Amadeus Pro stops working. If you depend on it for making a living as I do, you don't want to wait until Apple gets around to approving a new version. But those problems don't apply when you have the version from his website. The good thing is that on the Hairersoft website, Martin has provided a step-by-step guide for converting your App Store version to a Hairersoft.com <http://hairersoft.com/> version, which I recommend doing.
