Hi! I have a Breailletec Btec 100 braille printer. Its a very very small one and works like a charm on windows 7. On Windows i use Duxbury but i have not tried to install the printer on the mac. The problem is that it requires an ftdi driver for some odd reason. If it was hid i guess it would be easier to make it compatible with the mac. Does anyone has enough technical knowledge to give any suggestions? It would be great to have this printer work with the mac. The company that makes it is a one from Germany called Blista. However their support are not quite friendly and helpful with this kind of support and they are not going to develop a driver for the mac from what i know. Maybe one could try to do this but i don’t know the ftdi protocol so i can’t say. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance. /A
