Hi Eileen,

I agree with David’s explanation and I’ve also seen these files from time to 
time after using Microsoft Word for Windows. They are typically not left behind 
but every so often you’ll see one or more of them if Word or Windows was 
terminated improperly or experienced a problem. I would not worry about copying 
over your stuff and you should be able to safely delete the files. Your iTunes 
media folder should copy over just fine if you decide to transfer it.
