Hi Alex. Which version of OS X are you running? I've noticed with El Capitan, 
if I lose my wifi signal either by me resetting the modem or something else 
that happens like a power outage, once wifi is back on, my Mac won't connect to 
it like it used to in older versions of OS X. My iPhone still reconnects to 
wifi once it's back, but for some reason my Mac won't.
