Last week my mac reported that I was low on disk space. So, I moved 20 gb of files off into storage drives. An hour after moving all the files, my mac again reported low on disk space, and when I looked, sure enough my disk appeard to be full. Today I moved 11 gb more files off to storage and was breathing easy when my mac once again reported my disk to be full and sure enough it seems to be. I'm not putting any more files onto my disk though since the first time this happened. I've run apples disk checking utilities and they tell me my disk is OK for what that's worth. My disk's size appears normal. I ran a malware bytes scan and it didn't find anything suspicious. I'd appreciate any suggestions, as if this keeps up, I won't have enough disk space left to run an operating system.
