I agree with the UE recommendation. We have two UE Meggaboom speakers. You can link them together, so you can separate them and get stereo sound. The sound of the meggaboom is phenomenal. I used these at a large function in a room full of people, and the two speakers easily filled the room with rich sound. It's also waterproof, you can submerge it in a lot of water.
