To be honest, I appreciate the new mode of working. And, since getting refunds has been getting harder and harder, I’m restraining my impulse purchases accordingly. Since you can only get apps from Apple, make Apple do the work of maintaining your preferred list of apps; hide any purchase you no longer need in iTunes from your purchases list. Now you can use the App Store from the device, and only the device, to get your apps; delete any app stored on your computer, turn off app downloads on iTunes, and simply never buy anything that isn’t confirmed accessible or from a vendor who cares about accessibility. That will have to do, until Apple steps up to the plate and delivers a genuine commitment to VoiceOver users for apps downloaded from the store. And you’ll spend less money too, as well as being thoroughly liberated from all that syncing bollocks.
