Guys, I have a question. Undoubtedly Apple has changed some things without my knowing. In Yosemite, I'm having a lot of trouble selecting multiple items in my finder in a noncontiguous fassion.
It used to be I could interact with the file browser, focus myself on the first item, then disable cursor tracking with vo+shift+F3. Then, I could VO+down arrow until I got to the next item I wanted to select. Then, to toggle its selection, I could hit VO+Command+Space bar. Now, when I do this, it brings up the actions list for the currently focused item. Do a keyboard help on vo+command+Space, and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. I tried simply passing that keyboard shortcut through to the OS with VO+Tab, then doing the VO+Command+space bar, but that isn't working. I can confirm with VO+F6 to read the currently selected items that it's not working. So, how in Yosemite, and later, does one now go about doing this?
