Hi Everyone, My, Mac Mini Power P.C., running Tiger has no startup sound. ie, through "internal speakers" or "headset", although all sound "output" is through my "headset". I tried, after disconnecting the "headset", resetting "Parameter ram" but no sound, only re-engage, re-engage, re-engage of driver. In my "system prefs" "sound" "output table" I only have headset and no internal speakers. I also checked apps, and found "automator" has problems, for I cannot interact with it's "prefs" as it is "dimmed" What should I try next, or should I just learn to live with it, as other then no "start up sound" my computer is working just fine.
