Hello all, after having to erase my mac do to problems updating to El Capitan I am having a problem with Messages and FaceTime. My mac will only send messages ,FaceTime with my email address. I used to be able to use both my email and phone number to do this. Can anyone refresh me on how to add my cell phone number to my mac ? I spent 9 hours on the phone with Apple in the last 3 days restoring my mac after it crashed while installing the new operating system . I am sure it is simple to add my phone number , . I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance,
