Well first of all why do you keep changing your wyfi password?
Second answer is no it will not be on the network unless you leave the computer
running all the time and share the printer, but that is less safe then keeping
one secure wyfi password

Subject: Network printer vs wireless printer?

Hi all,

We currently have our printer upstairs set up as a wifi printer. For the most
part, this works out well. The biggest drawback is when I change our wifi
password, I am unable to change it on the printer on my own.

So, I’ve been wondering about connecting the printer to our airport extreme.
Those of you that print this way, can you tell me more about it? Is set up &
printing documents pretty seamless? If I connect the printer via the USB port,
it won’t be on my wifi network, correct?

Thank you for any info,
Traci
