Yes, CAPS LOCK will normally still perform its usual function if it’s tapped 
twice quickly. But once you remap it for use in VMWare Fusion, it becomes 
non-operable in the rest of OS X. So, it appears that you can only have one or 
the other at this time until a workaround is determined.
